Mungkin teman – teman dari Binus sudah mendengar bahwa kita sebagai mahasiswa mendapat kan fasilitas yg menarik, yaitu MSDNAA bagi mahasiswa.

Walaupun begitu saya merasa teman – teman masih ada yg belum mengetahui cara mendownload SN dan Software yg di berikan oleh microsoft ini melalui Binus MSDNAA.

berikut cara mendownload dan mendapatkan kebutuhan yg di gunakan untuk mengoptimalkan kapasitas kita sebagai mahasiswa binus yg harus nya mendukung original software …

Langkah 1

• Buka http://binusmaya.binus.ac.id
• Pilih menu “Registrasi”
• Pilih Registrasi MSDNAA
• Registrasi
• “Trik” sebenarnnya sebelum kita selesai mendaftar ada tutorial dlm bentuk .ppt yg bisa kita download untuk mendapatkan SN

Langkah 2

• Download tutorial pada saat registrasi
• Atau bisa mengikuti langkah 3 yg saya tulis

Langkah 3

• Buka https://msdn70.e-academy.com/elms/Security/Login.aspx?campus=bnu_infotech&un=2Q/AWnj2amLuCkuH9+g3CX6EdvF6RNEF&returnUrl=../UserProfile/UserProfileMain.aspx%3fcampus%3dbnu_infotech
• Atau http://msdnaa.Binus.ac.id
• Masukan username dan password yang dikirimkan ke email anda.  Setelah anda melakukan langkah 1
• Setelah login, silahkan memilih software pada seach produk titles lalu klik go
• Pilih satu software dari 126 software yang ada.
• Lalu akan tampil halaman ini dan klik add to cart.
• Lalu klik “I Agree” untuk melanjutkan.
• Klik Check out untuk meneruskan proses.
• Masukan nama dan email untuk bukti pembelian Software asli. Lalu klik next.
• Pastikan bahwa harga yang ditagihkan adalah $0.00, yang berarti gratis…
• Serial Key atau serial number akan muncul, copy dan paste serial key tersebut.Namun jangan download, karena Software akan dikirimkan ke kampus-kampusanda. Lebih cepat bila mengcopy dari pada mendownload.

Security tab for the properties of files or folders in Windows XP Professional is the important functionality that enable administrators and users to define security permissions and rights for particular user or group to the computer resources. By default, Windows XP Professional follows recommended setting to enable the use of simple file sharing that hide the Security tab, leaving you with only General, Sharing, Web Sharing & Customize tabs as in the Simple File Sharing UI.

So to see and unhide the Security tab, just use the following steps:

1. Launch Windows Explorer or My Computer.
2. Click on the Tools at the menu bar, then click on Folder Options.
3. Click on View tab.
4. In the Advanced Settings section at the bottom of the list, uncheck and unselect (clear the tick) on the “Use simple file sharing (Recommended)” check box.
5. Click OK.

Security tab is available only to Administrator or users with administrative rights. So make sure you login as one. And security can only be set in an NTFS partition. If you’re still having problem to reveal or display the Security tab on files or folder properties, check out the following registry hack and set the value to 0 or simply delete the key:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Name: Nosecuritytab
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1

If you’re using a Windows XP Professional system that is installed in a Workgroup, the Security tab is also hidden by default because in Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional, guests are forced to log on to a workgroup. Follow the instruction and information on Microsoft Knowledge Basewhere you need to set the value for ForceGuest registry key.

Symptoms

When viewing the page in Live Page mode or when trying to view a page after publishing it to the web server, the web
browser displays any of the following errors:

• Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005) [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file ‘(unknown)’. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
• Operation must use an updateable query. (Microsoft JET Database Engine)

Cause

This error usually happens on Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP and may be caused by any of the following conditions:
– the database file or database folder doesn’t have necessary security permissions to write to, or erase an .ldb file created by Microsoft Access when opening the database
– the database file doesn’t have sufficient security permissions or write permissions to be modified when updating data in it. The web browser is seen by the web server as a Internet User that has the server account IUSR. This user needs to have write permission to the database file and to the database folder.

Resolution

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
1. Use Windows Explorer to find the folder on the disk, which contains the database file (.mdb). This is usually your project folder.
2. Right-click on the project folder and select Properties.
3. Uncheck the Read-only property.
4. Click on the Security tab in the properties window.
(Attention: If you don’t see such tab (Windows XP), close the properties window, open any folder, select Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and uncheck the option Use simple file sharing.)
5. Click Add and find, then select the user IUSR_<COMPUTERNAME>.
6. Select the Write checkbox in the Allow; column to assign Write permissions to the IUSR account.

• Suatu aplikasi harus mengetahui IP address dari lawan bicaranya

–        IP address digunakan untuk routing

–        IP addresses sukar diingat oleh manusia

• Nama lebih masuk akal bagi manusia

–        Lebih mudah diingat, dapat diatur oleh organisasi/pemilik komputer, nama harus  (unik)

2. Apa beda antara primary server dengan secondary server?

Local name servers:

• Tiap ISP/Korporat mempunyai DNS lokal (default) server
• Host DNS query pertama-tama menuju ke local name server

Primary name server adalah DNS server yang bertanggung jawab atas kinerja domain dan subdomain yang dikelola.

Secondary name server adalah DNS server yang secara hierarki sepadan dengan Primary name server, namun data-data domain dan subdomain diperoleh dengan menyalin dari Primary name server.

Perbedaan

Perbedaan utama dari primary name server dan secondary name server adalah semua data mengenai domain dan translasi address tersimpan di primary name server, sedangkan secondary name server menggunakan data yang tersimpan di primary name server tersebut

3. Apa yang dimaksudkan dengan FQDN?

Fully Qualifed Domain Name (disingkat menjadi FQDN), dalam sistem penamaan domain Domain Name System (DNS) merujuk kepada nama bertitik yang dapat mengidentifikasikan sebuah host Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) di dalam jaringan dan Internet. FQDN juga sering disebut sebagai Absolute Domain Name. FQDN didiskusikan dalam RFC 1035, RFC 1123 dan RFC 2181.

Sebuah FQDN dari sebuah host mengandung nama host miliknya digabungkan dengan nama domain (dan subdomain) di mana host tersebut berada, yang kemudian dipisahkan dengan menggunakan tanda titik (.). FQDN umumnya digunakan di dalam Uniform Resource Locator (URL) yang digunakan untuk mengakses halaman web di dalam jaringan dan Internet dan membuat path absolut terhadap ruang nama (namespace) DNS ke host target di mana halaman web tersebut berada. FQDN berbeda dengan nama domain biasa karena FQDN merupakan nama absolut dari domain, sehingga sufiks domain tidak perlu ditambahkan.

Contoh FQDN: untuk sebuah nama FQDN id.wikipedia.org, dapat diambil pernyataan bahwa id merupakan nama host, dan wikipedia.org merupakan nama domain-nya. Panjang maksimum dari FQDN adalah 255 bita.
